Work collaboratively with Executive Director, Musicians Corner Program Director, and Park Partnership Manager to create and implement all marketing activities of The Conservancy and its programs


  • WEBSITE MANAGEMENT: Develop and manage content for websites, including: conservancyonline.com, musicianscornernashville.com, kidsvilleonline.org, conservancygala.com, centennialcraftfest.com, and pictureyourpark.com; ensure websites are continually updated with information about events, exhibits, programs, and other initiatives; make changes to sites and add new sections/content as needed
  • SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT: Manage social media presence across all channels for The Conservancy and its Musicians Corner and Kidsville programs, including developing, and programming content, creating events, promoting posts, timely inquiry responding, and increasing followers; be present at all Musicians Corner events for real-time social media management; manage event photographers and videographers to capture content; help expand Conservancy digital footprint; work with event photographers and videographers to capture content; deliver promotional assets to each Musicians Corner artist, solicit original content (videos, etc.) from each artist for use on our social media channels, and deliver event photos in a timely manner to each artist for use on their socials/website.
  • NEWSLETTER MANAGEMENT: Create and send email newsletters for The Conservancy, Musicians Corner, and Kidsville; typically weekly during Musicians Corner event season and monthly at other times; grow email databases for The Conservancy and its programs; create and manage quarterly printed newsletter for The Conservancy
  • POSTERS, PRINT, AND OTHER MEDIA: Create posters, print ads, brochures, postcards, event signage, and digital ads to promote events; manage distribution of event posters; manage promotions and giveaways; manage marketing agreements with media partners, and deliver advertising assets in a timely manner
  • PRESS RELEASES: Write and distribute press releases for events
  • FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS: Create and manage online fundraising campaigns for The Conservancy, Big Payback, Giving Tuesday, monthly giving, and other initiatives
  • GRAPHIC DESIGN: Design marketing materials and work with outside agency or designers as needed
  • INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CLIENT SUPPORT: Work with Program Directors/Managers to meet the ongoing marketing needs of each program, including Musicians Corner, Kidsville, and Parthenon/Park; manage marketing commitments for sponsors
  • EVENT SUPPORT/OTHER PROJECTS: Manage marketing interns, assist team with additional projects as needed


  • Creative, pro-active, self-motivated, results-oriented, highly collaborative, team player, who is passionate about marketing
  • Previous experience managing website content, email campaigns, and social media
  • Ability to write, edit, and proof marketing campaigns, collateral, and communication pieces
  • Graphic design experience; strong eye for design; ability to work effectively in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented; ability to prioritize multiple projects in an often fast-paced environment and handle a variety of assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to work at The Conservancy events that often take place on evenings and weekends

The Event Coordinator assists in implementing high-quality events for The Conservancy for the Parthenon and Centennial Park and its programs, including Musicians Corner, Kidsville, and private events at the Parthenon.

The Conservancy for the Parthenon and Centennial Park’s mission is to preserve, enhance and share the Parthenon and Centennial Park so that all future generations may benefit from these enriching cultural and educational landmarks. Musicians Corner provides free public access to live music and supports local artists by presenting free music events in Nashville's Centennial Park. Kidsville's mission is to utilize the arts and play to help educate Nashville's children in the areas of music, nutrition, fitness, and literacy to enhance the development of healthy and successful futures for our city's youngest citizens.


  • Assist in planning and implementing events in partnership with Musicians Corner Program Director, Musicians Corner Event Manager, Park Partnership Manager, and Kidsville Program Manager
  • Aid in managing event staff, interns, and volunteers
  • Assist with scheduling, managing, and collecting funds from event vendors and achieve revenue goals
  • Help with managing event permits, maintenance, parking, and security
  • Assist with managing merchandise development, sales, fulfillment, and orders and achieve revenue goals
  • Manage storeroom and event load in and load out
  • Assist in coordinating private events at The Parthenon as a Conservancy representative and client liaison
  • Assist in advancing event details with private clients including collecting necessary documentation, coordinating vendors, and scheduling
  • Conduct Parthenon site visits for potential private event clients
  • Provide staffing support at Kidsville events as needed
  • Schedule volunteer staff for Kidsville events
  • Help with additional tasks and projects as needed to support the organization and its programs
