OUTDOOR FUN & EDUCATION AT KIDSVILLE

Kidsville is the outdoor destination at Musicians Corner for parents to bring their little ones to enjoy fun, fitness, crafts, and educational Musical Meet & Greet guests and activities in a beautiful park setting. Kidsville takes place during each Musicians Corner event.

Kidsville is funded in part by the generosity of Jackson National Community Fund, Ryman Hospitality Properties Foundation, The Nashville Predators Foundation, The Memorial Foundation, The CMA Foundation, American Music Water, Nashville Parent, Baby + Co and presented by Mix 92.9.

Kidsville's Mission, Vision, and Values

Kidsville's Mission Statement: Kidsville's mission is to utilize the arts and play to help educate Nashville's youth in the areas of music, nutrition, fitness, and literacy to enhance the development of healthy and successful futures for our city's youngest citizens.

Kidsville Vision Statement: Connecting Nashville children and families to enriching opportunities for growth through education, experience, and exploration.

Kidsville Core Values: We believe in the intrinsic value of play and provide opportunities for experiential learning, and multi-sensory, object-based exploration. We connect children and families to transformational experiences and ideas in the areas of art, music, nutrition, fitness, and literacy to enhance the development of healthy and successful futures. We support parents, caregivers, educators, community partners, and local artisans in the development of and introduction to local opportunities for our youngest citizens.

Aside from Musicians Corner, Kidsville presents a weekly event each Saturday from 11 - 11:45 AM at The Parthenon in Centennial Park. The events are free for all ages. View the calendar below, and visit us soon!

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3RD

KIDSVILLE AT THE PARTHENON 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM:

Come join us as we learn, explore, and perform iconic parts of Shakespeare’s Hamlet with words like “To be or not to be” or “O, Hamlet”, and make your own acting script to use.

CRAFTS:

Saturday, December 10th

SHAKESPEARE'S FOLIO: Special guest, local printing press shop, SAWTOOTH PRINTING will demonstrate how the Shakespeare FOLIO printing process would have been done.

INTERSECTION: Musicians from Intersection, Nashville's contemporary classical music ensemble, will interact with kids and explore how new music can expand our minds and ears!
