INTERNSHIPS
Our internship program is designed to prepare up-and-coming professionals for entry-level careers in live events. Interns will gain hands-on experience in event management and build a network of professional contacts, which are crucial to success in this industry. From day one, our interns are fully immersed in the details of our events, building skills and relationships that can provide the foundation for a successful career. There are 4 focus areas: Event Operations, Event Hospitality, Merchandise, and Audio Production.
Internship Details
We have internship programs in Winter (Feb - April), Spring (May - June) and Fall (Late August - Early October). We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2023. Applications will open for Winter interns in November 2023.
Internship opportunities include Nashville Earth Day (Winter), Musicians Corner (Spring), and Musicians Corner and the Kidsville Family Festival (Fall)
This is a paid internship and requires someone located in/near Nashville, TN for the duration of the season
Must be able to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Internships are open to all applicants, regardless of school enrollment status
The Centennial Park Conservancy intern program seeks to prepare candidates for successful careers in the entertainment, event, and nonprofit sectors
Applicants must be comfortable working in groups and interacting with new people and should be enthusiastic and willing to learn, with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
Interns are an integral part of Musicians Corner and will receive hands-on training in festival-style event management with a small team in a fun and professional environment. Our interns work hard while learning tangible skills that will benefit them no matter where their career path takes them. Centennial Park Conservancy / Musicians Corner paid internships help to develop and educate professionals from all backgrounds with an emphasis on diversity, equity, inclusion, and representation.
