MUSICIANS CORNER ANNOUNCES 2018 SEASON CELEBRATES NINTH YEAR OF FREE MUSIC IN CENTENNIAL PARK

Musicians Corner, Nashville’s outdoor music destination, returns for its ninth year of free music events in Centennial Park with a two-day Kick Off Celebration on Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12.

"Musicians Corner brings the Nashville community together for a fun filled, family-oriented musical experience in Centennial Park," said Metro Parks Director Monique Odom. "We look forward to another year of great music in one of our most beloved parks."

Musicians Corner’s 2018 Season will include 21 events, taking place on Fridays and Saturdays in May and June and Thursdays in September. The events will feature multi-genre musical performances on the Main Stage and Lightning 100 Acoustic Stage, food trucks, the Musicians Corner Pub, local artisan vendors, Kidsville activities, services for dogs, and featured community partners. The events will take place from 5 - 9 PM on Fridays and from 12 - 6 PM on Saturdays.

In addition to its Friday and Saturday schedule, Musicians Corner is once again partnering with the Nashville Symphony to present an orchestral performance in Centennial Park on Thursday, June 7. This will be the first of the Symphony’s free Community Concerts in 2018.

“Musicians Corner has been a hit for eight straight years and has grown in both size and offerings every year,” said Butch Spyridon, President & CEO, Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. “Free, high quality music is at the heart of our brand and Musicians Corner helps keep the brand alive. We can’t wait until next year’s 10th Anniversary!”
